The Project Assistant will report to the Project Lead and will be part of the Heads Up PH Team of ULF. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient development and delivery of Heads Up PH team’s objectives.

The Project Assistant shall be responsible for the following:
The PROJECT ASSISTANT shall report directly to the Project Lead and shall be responsible for supporting project implementation, ensuring quality and results by providing support to projects implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness and by supporting planning, monitoring and evaluation activities of the project with supervision of Project Lead.
Summary of key functions:
Reports directly to the Project Lead of Heads Up PH;Assists Program Officers in ensuring quality and on-time delivery of projects through:Facilitation of administrative, financial, and logistical needs for program implementation, including but not limited to purchasing, arrangement of meetings, transportation, and accommodation, among others;Assistance in coordinating with partners and suppliers to track project updates and progress;Coordinating for compliance, completion, and clearance of legal docu
ments;Act as point person for Monitoring, e
valuation and Learning (MEL), and Knowledge Management (KM);Coordinating with Project Officers for docu
mentation and maintenance of program logs and databa
ses such as, but not limited to, risks and issues log, partners databa
se, participants databa
se, and suppliers databa
se;Development of reports and correspondences;Support to follow-up on project auditing issues;Proactively co
ntribute to day-to-day program implementation and ensure co
nformity to expected results and work plans;Perform other reaso

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
This position requires a results-driven individual, with
1. Bachelor’s degree holder (health sciences background or equivalent experience an advantage)
2. Experience working in an NGO for at least 1 year; involvement in the public health sector is a competitive advantage
3. Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques.
4. Proficient in English and Filipino, both oral and written
5. Skills in MS Excel, and proficiency in Word and Power point; strong familiarity of social media platforms; basic knowledge on online meeting tools.
6. Knowledge of social sectors in the Philippines.
Selection Criteria:
1. Relevant educational and/or professional degrees and certifications or equivalent professional experience
2. Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
3. Demonstration of ability to effectively interact with community organizations, government officials, corporate executives, general public and staff;
4. Demonstrated ability to engage in evidence-based pilot or scaled up interventions; experience in community based health initiatives a strong advantage
5. Demonstration of honesty, transparency, accountability;
6. Demonstration of ethical and critical way of thinking;
7. Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate via writing, public speaking and interpersonal interactions;
Accepted applicant will be based in Mandaluyong City. This is a fixed-term position.
