Trend Analyst

Responsibilities

Processes and provides inputs to the demand forecasting model.Analyzes Billed Volume trends/behaviors by class or drivers.Prepares the billed volume projections that will be used as input into the lockdowns of the business planning and rate rebasing process.Analyzes the impact of economic and non-economic factors affecting demands and implements necessary programs and process enhancement to mitigate or influence the impact of economic and non-economic factors affecting demands (i.e. population, city developments, price, water pressure).Uses and maintains the Business Intelligence programs and reports.Analyzes historical Billed Volume performance and trends to develop accurate forecasts.Develops continuous improvements to increase the accuracy of reports.Automates and standardized report generation.Monitors weekly performance of forecast versus actuals; identifies significant variances and provide updates.Develops and implements projects that will aid in Billed Volume growth and capture changes in accounts economic activity.Provides support and assistance to BA requirements.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.Required skill(s): R-Stat, E View, Power BI, SQL.Proficient in MS office applications particularly MS ExcelAt least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Actuarial Science/Statistics or equivalent.Full-Time position(s) available.
