Plan, propose and deliver active commercial management to Canon Business Services (CBS) to assist with achieving sustainable growth in line with the overall business strategy.
Provide commercial advice and support to the CBS Sales & Marketing teams ensuring that accounting transactions are correct and entered into the system on time, accurately reflecting the CBS business.
Essential Duties:
Commercial
Calculate and process commissions using the commission calculation tools (MS Excel and MS Access). Maintain the sales organisatio
nal hierarchy, and make any changes to hires, terminations, or compensation plan changes within the Commission Calculator. Provide Commercial insights into the mo
nthly commission payments by analysing sales performance at an Account Manager, Product and Channel perspective. Co
ntribute to achieving CBS overarching goals.
Budget Preparation
Provide commissions input to the annual and quarterly budgeting processes.
Decision Support through Information Analysis
Provide Commission expertise, planning, insights, commercial analysis and decision support to the Sales & Marketing teams in CBS Act as a focal point for issues and queries for the business regarding commissions. Improve management decision making through commercially sound and insightful analysis. Provide decision support tools to management.
Operational Excellence and Change Management
Identify and implement process improvements to improve customer satisfaction and / or reduce costs. Maintain effective financial accounting within CBS. Preparation of mo

Monthly Reporting

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant professio
nal experience Tertiary qualifications in Computing and/ or Mathematics. Proven experience in a time critical analytical role (ability to meet strict deadlines). Advanced MS Access skills - Ability to im
port and export data, write complex SQL queries and macros. Advanced MS Excel skills - Ability to create complex formulas, manipulate pivot tables and create macros. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot with elements of ambiguity Excellent communication skills (assertiveness/confidence) Good rapport with internal and external customers. Strong knowledge in ERP Financial System, Financial Modelling and, MS Visual Basic
