In the Philippines, Mediabrands was founded in 2015 by the late and beloved Venus Reyes-Navalta and is registered in SEC as IPG Mediabrands Philippines, Inc. We are structured in the country as an umbrella company of a number of brands or specialist business units such as UM, Initiative, Reprise, Magna, Orion, MediaBrands Content Studio (MBCS) plus our now affiliates Kinesso and Matterkind that incorporated its own company in 2021 to form Kinesso Philippines, Inc.

We are looking for a DIGITAL TRADING MANAGER who can join our Magna team:

about THE TEAM

With $43 billion in media billings worldwide, MAGNA is the multi-platform strategic media investment unit of IPG Mediabrands. MAGNA is responsible for forecasts, insights, negotiation strategy, value creation and buying performance accountability across all media platforms. It is a centralized IPG Mediabrands resource that develops intelligence, investment and innovation strategies for agency teams and clients. We utilize our insights, forecasts and strategic relationships to provide clients with a competitive marketplace advantage.

THE DIGITAL TRADING MANAGER ROLE

Reporting to the local MAGNA MD, digital trading manager role is to support all Mediabrands agencies and clients in maximizing buying value through trading analysis, deals and innovations. This also involves working closely with regional Magna teams to support the regional digital trading initiatives and client pricing requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understanding of all digital trading platforms and partnersRegular analysis on spends to understand the demand from all Mediabrands agencies & clients across all digital platforms/vendorsRegular analysis on supply from vendors and price points benchmarking across clients to find the efficiency and maximization opportunitiesSupport Magna lead on deal negotiations with local digital partners and maintaining good relationshipSupporting pitches & price commitments on local & regional/global businessesRegular updates to all key stakeholders across Mediabrands agencies on deals or opportunities from media partnersWork closely with regional Magna digital trading & accountability teams to support regional/global deals, pitches and price commitment needs

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Mass Communication or any related courseAround 3 to 4 years of work experience in an International media/digital agency focusing on digital planning/buying/tradingExposure across digital platforms (including programmatic) is preferred; doesn’t have to be actual campaign management or implementation experience but some knowledge and exposure would be sufficientGood data analysis & management skillsPrior experience in Digital Trading would be an added advantageGood communication skill in English (Written & spoken)

Technical Knowledge:

Intermediate digital media planning/buying skillsStrong analytics & optimization skillsGood at excel and data analysisGood at PowerPointGood negotiation skills

Soft Skills:

Patience & diligenceAccountable and results-drivenFocused, with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative natureAnalytical mindset with excellent attention to detailApproachable, ambitious, dynamic and motivated individualAbility to work with multiple stakeholders (within agencies, clients and partners)Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors
