The Senior Specialist Marketing will develop, implement, and manage targeted, complex marketing communications programs to support corporate and business unit goals and objectives. This position will involve leading multiple marketing programs at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. These programs are expected to enhance the companies image and positioning in the marketplace and with various publics, and to support the marketing and sales efforts of the company.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
• Support and develop targeted marketing communications plans and programs (including print collateral, web-based and electronic media, targeted public and industry relations, advertising, sales promotion and direct mail, key client events and trade shows).
• Support the Marketing Roadmap, working with the Marketing Programs Manager responsible for development of the content on the roadmap, the details behind the roadmap, in many cases, the budget that supports the roadmap, and the ongoing interactions with Sales, Product Management, Industry Solutions, and New Business Development to ensure that each vertical market and product offering provide the appropriate marketing mix with the greatest ROI
• Working with sales staff associated with each specific vertical, determine, define, and develop the marketing activities (and the marketing mix) needed to support the business plans, product plans, and sales activities.
• Responsible for developing and managing marketing budgets
• Working with graphic designer and web teams to develop creative conception, positioning, planning, implementation and management of externally directed marketing communications messages and programs.
• Research, monitor and track Concentrix involvement in industry events, assuming overall responsibility for each marketing campaign; act as a subject matter expert, providing marketing communications guidance and support to Concentrix’ marketing and sales organizations (both domestically and internationally), business units, resource units and selected Concentrix personnel.
• Plan, organize and drive marketing communication initiatives for Concentrix’ key markets (including but not limited to Wireless, Cable/Broadband, Technology, IP, Finance and emerging technologies; also managing initiatives for Channels/Alliances and AT&T).
• Participate in various Concentrix marketing communications committees, and work with Concentrix executives to provide communications support for corporate and business unit marketing and sales programs.
• Support marketing elements of sales training, including content design and development of sales training materials themselves. Serve as presenters in sales training; serve as coaches for Solution Selling courses.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college in related field, with four to six years of experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external candidates
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
• Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure
• Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism
• Solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. Demonstrated business acumen
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
