Content Administrator - WordPress

Become an expert in the ever-expanding field of online business to business & business to consumer retail. More specialists are needed as the online commerce world grows more relevant every year. The “Content Administrator” role is responsible assisting team members with continual e-commerce website improvements in order to help the team reach their goals in a timely and efficient manner.

• Create, maintain, and update lighting products, descriptions, and details on

WordPress via WooCommerce

• Sort products by lighting related category and assign appropriate attributes to variable products

• Assist coworkers with technological product entry concerns

• Organize and track manufacturer information, photos, and pricing, updating as necessary

• Develop informative and engaging SEO descriptions

• Assist with general website management

• Produce digital content: photos, graphics, and site assets

• Additional assignments and tasks as necessary

• Comfortable with varied work pace (for example, we might experience an influx of work that creates a fast pace workload about 5 or 6 times per year for 2-3 weeks at a time)

• Ability to remain calm during occasions when multiple projects must be juggled to complete the work under competing deadlines

• Willingness to constantly learn new product & processes and embrace ongoing change

• Enjoys improving processes to make them more streamlined and effective

Requirements:

• Required: proficient in the use of Microsoft products, including Windows, Word, Excel

• Required: High level of availability for our team, with quick responsiveness via phone or email during business hours 8:00AM 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time

• 1-4 years of inside sales, category management, or data entry strongly preferred.

• Experience in the lighting and lighting systems field would be beneficial, but not necessary if key skills are met. On the job training will be provided.

• A basic understanding of electronic components, DC vs AC power, low and line voltage wiring, etc. would be beneficial, but not required

• Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, or Similar Databases

• Bachelor’s/College Degree

• Analytical mindset and critical thinking

• Creativity and knowledge with Web design and Site Management
