Establishes and maintains business relationships in the industrial channel through effective selection of/and communication with clients.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Business Development
a. Identifies, builds, and develops new industrial/distributor accounts for fuels and lubes from the following industries: Shipping, Power, Mining, Cement/Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Transportation, Other related industries
b. Identifies proper contact persons of prospect accounts differentiating gatekeepers, influencers, and decision makers
c. Identifies customer needs and buying motivations
d. Understands our products and their application that matches customer needs
e. Conducts product presentation and technical field testing for various equipment of end users
f. Conducts ocular inspections and feasibility studies
g. Prepares business case for customized services and ensures commitment volumes are met
h. Does value-based selling (Not transactional selling)
i. Convinces customers to enter into Supply Agreements
j. Prepares proposals in coordination with internal stakeholders
k. Secures and reviews documents for customer accreditation
l. Leads change management based on customer’s business process
m. Prepares credit line endorsements and ensures compliance to company documentary requirements
n. Ensures smooth product delivery that meets customer expectations
2. Accounts Management
a. Achieves individual volume and margin targets (fuel and lubes)
b. Leads inter-departmental meetings to resolve customer issues and concerns, and designs interim and long term solutions with the team
c. Manages account officers’ performance in area of responsibility
d. Updates customers with current price movements
e. Acts as a consultant to customers to improve their process and bottom line to achieve win- win solutions
f. Solicits and places customer orders
g. Ensures that customers' credit lines are sufficient and fully utilized
h. Conducts regular customer visits
i. Coordinates collection schedules for outstanding customer accounts with approved credit lines
j. Increases the volume share versus competitors
k. Creates strategies for customer needs
3. Administrative Functions
a. Prepares monthly performance reports for assigned area
b. Uses and updates the customer relationship management (CRM) tool
c. Monitors competitors' prices and conducts market intelligence reports and provides recommendations
d. Performs accounts receivable reconciliation
e. Ensures timely collection of receivables
f. Conducts regular updates on gallonage surveys
4. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Realistic Job Preview:
1. Reporting to the office once a week and rendering field work for the rest of the week (Field or on-site activities must be performed with utmost care and precaution, especially in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic)
2. Maintenance of business: order taking, routine account checks, and administrative work
3. Create basic business case for sales and acquisition of new businesses (business development), from solicitation of accounts, negotiation, and delivery (in accordance to the company's Order-to-Cash process)
4. Use CRM tool (i.e., SquadZip)
5. Will be in-charge of credit management of accounts (including the endorsement and justification of proposed credit terms/line)
Expectations from Candidates:
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
