The Business Operations Manager is responsible for managing all business operations of the laboratory. The position holder ensures the achievement of targets and the continuous growth and sustainability of the laboratory.
Business Directions Setting
Lead in the development of business strategies with aim of sustainable growthDraft a quarterly/yearly plan that outlines the targets and programs of the business unit of the laboratoryImplement strategic and tactical programs in the achievement of the set targets
Operational Supervision
Supervise staff in the accomplishment of their duties and responsibilities.Provide directions and oversee the accomplishment of section targets.Implement a performance review of the non-technical staff
Fostering Partnerships and Collaborations
Form partnerships and agreements with clientsEnsure that partnerships grow and co

Administrative

Logistics and Procurement
Works closely with Admin & Logistics Officer and Chief Medical Technologist in managing inventory to operating levels to avoid unnecessary delays and oversupply.Inspect accurately and timely, goods, services, and works procured in order to establish project specifications.Oversee the development of a procurement program plan to determine appropriate specifications of required items, according to established guidelines and procedures.Ensure that all assets are accounted for
Reporting
Report immediately any untoward incident in the laboratory to the Pathologist/Head of the Laboratory and Director of Diagnostic Services.Prepare weekly reports on the operatio
nal outputs, and administrative requirements of the laboratory.Prepare mo

QUALIFICATIONS:
