The Assistant Manager, HR Business Partner is responsible for integrating EMAPTA’s and its clients’ business strategies with people management practices. The role serves as a consultant or a strategic partner to the management, clients, and employees and provides day-to-day leadership to drive the successful delivery of HR business plans.People ManagementLeads a team of HR Business Partners to succeed in delivering excellent service throughout the entire employee journey – from onboarding to Offboarding.Develops the HR Business Partners to ensure that they practice and serve the customers with the Service Delivery Culture (DELIVER)Business PartnershipBuilds strong, trusted, and influential relationships with his/her stakeholders - clients, employees, Department and Division Heads, his/her People Manager and colleagues.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation and consults with management when appropriate.Employee Relations, Engagement, and RetentionProvides appropriate feedback and resolution to employee concerns promptlyInitiates and drives site and company-wide employee engagement, rewards, and recognitionConducts exit interviews and forwards reports to employee's Immediate Superior, Business Unit Head, and HR Head.Performance ManagementConducts, recommends, and fulfills probationary and annual performance review/management for HR Business PartnersExecutes employee movement, promotion, PPE and salary reviews and discussionCareer Management and Learning and DevelopmentFacilitates career development goals and discussions with direct reports and/or high-value clients and talents.Identifies and grows future leaders and runs the required programs and training initiatives to help the leaders succeed.Employee DisciplineMaintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Consults Corporate Lawyer/Retainer as needed/required.Manages and resolves end-to-end complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Occupational Safety & Health (in collaboration with Facilities & Admin)Implements, maintains, and inspects health and safety standards in the workplaceEnsures the site’s compliance with protocols and standards set by government agencies like DOLE, PEZA, BOI, etc.What we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR Management or related fieldsAt least 7 to 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 to 5 years as a people manager, preferably from BPO CompaniesIn-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
