I. Job Purpose
The Accounting Compliance Supervisor is primarily responsible in coordinating all processes related to government compliance such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Security and Exchange Commission, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and the local government unit, among others.
II. Key Outputs
Ensures accurate, complete, and timely preparation, filing, and payment of all corporate tax returns, supporting schedules, and alpha lists according to BIR rules and regulations and tax calendar;Complies with the regulatory and reportorial requirements of PEZA, SEC, and the local government unit;Facilitates the renewal of permits, certifications, and registrations with BIR, and PEZA, and provide high level of assistance and coordination for business permit renewal with the local government unit;.Provides high level of assistance and coordination in the co
nduct of various statutory audits and tax assessments including the implementation of resolutions for audit findings;Performs tax compliance audit, assesses potential exposure, and recommends resolutions with the aim of mitigating risks and optimizing incentives;Provide high level of assistance in the company’s tax planning and annualization;Keeps self-updated with the relevant tax laws, PEZA and SEC regulations, provides advices on the impact of the new laws and amendments, and implements them in a timely manner;Represents the company and coordinates with the BIR, PEZA, SEC, government agencies, consultants, customers and vendors, and external auditors for tax-related and other compliance issues;Coordinates with other departments (Administration and HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations) for validation, streamlining, and compliance to PEZA, BIR and SEC; andPerforms other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
III. Minimum Qualifications
1. Education:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy,
a Certified Public Accountant.
2. Experience:
