PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/ ATTRIBUTES:

Preferably with Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Biochemistry or Chemistry.Preferably with knowledge and skills in molecular and/or clinical laboratory techniquesPreferably proficient in computer software operations and familiar with statistical software package.Has above average verbal/ written communication and interpersonal skills.

BRIEF DEscriptION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the work of a small group of researchers engaged in studiesPrepares research proposal, technical reports and scientific manuscripts for publication.·Conducts and monitors approved researches and studies of the unit. Analyze and interprets results of researches and studies of the unit.Act as trainer of new researches.Renders consultancy and technical assistance services.Serves as chair or member of technical or non-technical institutional committees.Performs other related work and special tasks assigned by the supervisor or higher authorities
