The Technical Sales Executive for Product Service is responsible for selling the company’s services and building customer relationships in product testing and inspection. He/she identifies prospects and business opportunities for the company and is expected to determine customers’ needs and provide them with possible business solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Manages existing customers and develop new customers, understand customers business status, look for business opportunities and foster good customer relatio
nship for revenue growth and customer retention.Promotes and sells the company services related to various testing methods such as Electrical Functio
nal and Safety Test, Automotive Physical and Mechanical Test, and Chemical and Microbiological Analysis, and builds customer long term relationships.Co
nducts 80% of sales activity doing sales visits, meeting customers, provides service for existing/new customers, and is accountable for achieving assigned sales targetsIdentifies, creates and makes follow-ups on new customer accounts and partners as well with regional/local operations team in developing new servicesFormulates and executes sales and marketing strategies for Product Services (PS)Develops marketing programs, activities and customer focused events.Provides pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.Prepares quotations and follow up on sales enquires/proposal from customers.Reports sales performance metrics and improvement plans for customer-related processesReviews, e
valuates and develops pricing strategies for various servicesEnsures timely respo
nse to customers’ inquiries, feedback and commentsBuilds, strengthens and optimizes relatio
nships with customers, prospects and partnersMaintains a sound technical/application knowledge ba
sed on all PS products and services.
Key Qualifications:
A diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering and/or any related discipline with strong inclination to sales and business developmentAt least 2 to 3 years of experience in corporate sales is requiredExperienced in various industry such as Product Testing and Inspection (i.e. Electrical Functio
nal and Safety Test, Automotive Physical and Mechanical Test, and Chemical and Microbiological Analysis) Must have strong corporate selling skills and interperso
nal skills with excellent customer focus to establish positive relatio
nsPreferably knowledgeable in different ISO standards or certification industryWith excellent presentation skills and ability to articulateProficient in both written and spoken English languagePossess valid driving license and own vehicle will be an advantage
