Job Description

As a Marketing Data Analyst you will be leading marketing data analytics, reporting strategies, and dashboard creation and optimization within Tableau. You will be working directly with a world class marketing team across all digital media platforms and channels. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing reporting dashboards, and summarizing performance with the goal of providing actionable insight into complex marketing and transactional datasets. Your primary goal will be to own creatively visualizing datasets for ease of consumption and interpretation by cross functional marketing and media buying teams. 

about You:

You should possess a strong background in digital marketing or business analytics with proven experience and passion for data visualization and dashboard creation. You should have a demonstrable passion for Tableau. 

You will find success in this role if you are: 

Experienced in working with large marketing and transactional data sets. Highly proficient in SQL and Tableau.Possess a familiarity with ad tagging, digital marketing ad tracking parameters and KPIs and best practices. Have an ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making though summarization and visualization of relevant Metrics and KPIs, communicating in a comprehensible way across various levels of our organization.Previous experience in media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, and other advanced analytic and data science approaches. Ability to build robust process documentation, source of truth documentation and build robust data validation quality checks to ensure accuracy of reporting. 3-5 years of experience in general data analytics OR2-3 years of experience specifically with digital marketing analytics with some familiarity with marketing platforms such as facebook, adwords, google analytics, etc.

Responsibilities: 

Own and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting tools in support of the internal marketing teams. Support impactful decisions with media buying strategies by understanding the overall health of their initiatives and strategies. Show up as a strategic partner and subject matter expert to help shape reporting goals. ongoing analysis of digital marketing performance to inform strategy and in-market optimization decisions. ongoing customer journey analysis through the purchase funnel; identifying gaps and opportunities to help optimize the customer experience using Tableau.Produce insights and recommendations to incrementally improve marketing campaign effectiveness Collaborate with a team of marketing analysts, data engineers, and data scientists in support of marketing strategy and decision-making across a wide range of marketing tactics.Support our marketing attribution reporting system, fostering advanced full-funnel analysis for better marketing channel and spend allocation. Provide training, documentation, and other assistance to support and expand the use of analytics and tools across the organization.
