Job Summary:  

The General Ledger Supervisor will apply the principles of accounting to analyze financial information, reconcile accounts, create adjustments & prepare financial reports. He/she is also responsible to update weekly warehouse report and inventory reconciliation, ensuring compliance to GAAP and internal company policies and procedures.

·        Oversee general ledger team to ensure that the Company’s financial statements are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

·        Prepare and/or review monthly balance sheet reconciliation.

·        Prepare and/or review reports required by management and government agencies through the use of accounting system.

·        Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates, and expedite workflow

·        Prepare various monthly and yearly schedules and provides data for management use. 

·        Communicate with managers, supervisors and other co-workers to maintain good working relations with other departments.

·        May perform related duties as assigned, within scope of practice.

Qualifications :

BS Accountancy. CPA is an advantage.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3-4 years of supervisory role.Has in-depth knowledge in accounting standards and principles and is updated with latest regulatory developments.Can apply procedures and governmental policies/regulations.Proficient in using computer software programs and/or other accounting applications and any ERP system.Can effectively work with minimum supervision and trustworthy. Has excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills .Has excellent project and organizational skills and is results oriented.Highly analytical and can deal and solve practical problems.Agile and able to work in fast paced environment
