ROLE DEscriptION
The Senior Global Pricing Specialist, GSCS is responsible for generating, tracking and communicating all quoting activities for new and existing customers. Quoting all vendor products, vendor services and vendor support, Westcon services and Westcon support and any logistics or 3rd party value added service products, for any regional or global opportunity.
Duties:
Obtain and review customer docu
mentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.Liaising with vendors to ensure pricing co
ntracts are valid and available.Production of quotations for customers within agreed SLA’s.Production and maintenance of pricing catalogues, and development of self-service tools.Maintenance of system pricing co
nditions in the ERP system.Maintain a central repository of all co
ntractual sales co
nditions and sales retentions.
Responsibilities:
Be part of a central team for all world-wide quote requestsGenerate, co-ordinate and provide customer quotes for all world-wide regions.Project co-ordinate large global bids and ensure submission to the customer within the agreed SLALiaise with Vendors and Customers directly to resolve any discrepancies preventing valid quotations from being produced.Working with the Vendor to ensure that all special pricing agreements are in placeAttend regular update calls/meetings with the Account Director as and when requiredAttend meetings/calls wher
e necessary with the vendor or customer to discuss large bids and projectsIdentify efficiency gaps, and strive for co
ntinuous improvementWork within the agreed SLA’sHave a flexible approach to working hours during peak periods.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge
Technology:
o Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point
o Experience of using SAP ERP systems
o Knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto or other IT products will be an advantage.
Finance:
o Be able to review minimum profitability requirements on a transaction level
o Be able to calculate percentages and margins.
o Experience in international quotations.
Sales:
o Understanding of the sales environment
o Detailed understanding of our contractual agreements with vendors and customers
Customer Service:
o Good written and verbal communication essential
Required Skills

Operating Environment
Working as part of the Global Deployment Solutions (GDS) Team, this role is 1 of 10 dedicated quote specialists who will support all GDS customer activity, working alongside the Service Delivery Managers (who act as the Single Point of Contact for our customers), the Sales Operations Specialists (who will manage all Order Management tasks, Customer Service tasks and any transactions related to RMA or disputes), and a team of Project Managers and Coordinators who will work to ensure programs and projects are delivered according to our contractual agreements.
