Job Description

The Manager for Brand Operations Processes, Planning, and Control ensures the successful delivery of the Marketing Divisions annual operating plan through the design and implementation of effective and efficient processes, controls, and integrated planning systems. S/he also takes the lead in managing the divisions innovation portfolio and A&P budget, ensuring adherence to the committed annual operating plan. S/he also represents Jollibee marketing in cross functional and corporate projects related to overall product development, packaging development, and process development.

Brand Marketing Plan Development and Management

Integrates BMP with other functional planning models and outputs (S&OP, Finance, R&D, RS etc.), and designs and implements process improvements to drive efficient and effective integrated planningAnalyzes and integrates the strategies developed by the marketing teams and ensure that these will deliver JB PH objectives on value sales, volume sales, taste, market shares and equity ratings, amongst others. Identifies additional gaps and recommends adjustments to strategies and tactics for approval of department headMaintains the divisions balanced scorecard and reports the performance of all key marketing initiativesReports marketing performance against its annual goals to key stakeholdersChairs the Monthly Operations and Marketing Alignment MeetingDevelops and secures approval for the annual strategies and operating plan of Brand Operations in terms of processes, planning and control systems

Product Development

Oversees the innovation portfolio and calendar, recommends improvements on processes and policies to improve performanceTracks all projects in the innovation funnel and ensures adherence to committed timelines and output. Innovations in scope are:New ProductsProduct CombinationsPackaging Innovations that impact Store and Customer ExperienceToys and Novelty ItemsProduct ImprovementsReports innovation portfolio performance to the Product Board and other key stakeholdersPerforms regular portfolio reviews to assess if our menu satisfies customer need for variety, balancing this vs store complexity, and recommends product offerings for optimization as needed.Chairs the Expanded Product Work Group Meetings and ensures its timely and regular conduct.Organizes and acts as secretariat for the following: Executive Product Board, SBU Product Board, Channels Board, Product and Campaign Alignment (PCA)

Sales and Operations Planning

Represents JB PH Marketing in the JB PH S&OP core team. As marketing representative and based on in depth knowledge of marketing calendar and processes performs the following: o Engages brand team in recalibration of marketing activities to aid in depletion of inventory, consolidates and seeks approval for total plan.Enrolls project in innovation funnel to facilitate approval of alternative materials that would have an impact on profile and customer acceptability.Designs processes and sets success measures for New Product demand forecast accuracy and inventory management improvement.

Marketing Process Design, Implementation and Sustenance

Co-designs, documents, aligns, implements, and continuously improves Marketing Processes and sub processes. These processes include but are not limited to: Product and Packaging Development, Channel Program Development, Promotion Development, Integrated Marketing Campaign Development, Menu Optimization, Trade Communications, and Budget Management.Ensures alignment of JB Marketing processes with Jollibee Business Systems.Orients and updates all key stakeholders on the performance of marketing processes against its success criteria.

BMP Management: Budget Planning Management

Proposes and secures approval for the divisions annual A&P budget requirement as part of the BMP process deliverables.Manages the Division Ads & Promotion budget and ensures efficient and controlled spend.Ensures that budgets are allocated and aligned to the objectives and strategies in the annual Brand Marketing Plan. Adjusts A&P plan based on business need on a monthly basis. Recommends projects for funding/defunding for approval of the department and division head.Reports monthly budget utilization to key stakeholders.

People Management & Development

Organizes the group and selects team members to support the achievement of department goals.Creates the Succession Plan for the direct reports (DRs) to ensure business continuity vis-à-vis employee developmentConducts performance evaluation of direct reports.Creates the direct reports development plans based on competency assessment and individual performance; implements/monitors the achievement of developmental objectives or milestones.Identifies key talents (KTs) among direct reports; develops a career plan for direct reports who are identified as key talents.Drives participation of the team to employee engagement programs; develops action plans to address employee engagement issues.Facilitates employee issue resolution and implements the disciplinary action process when neededServes as SME for training-related needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of engineering or any related courses.At least 5 years of experience related to marketing process improvements.Has experience in Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Process and System Development, and Quality Management.Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
