Purpose:
The project MSL will serve to support the transition of CV brands for Philippines by managing MSL tasks for the mature brand in the portfolio.
As a project MSL, she/he shall manage MSL tasks as follows: The project MSL shall act as a scientific expert between Bayer and the medical community through the dissemination and education of scientific data and material. The project MSL shall establish scientific/strategic relationships with key, influential physicians/scientists/stakeholders and with related major medical associations and academic centers of excellence. These relationships will ensure that Thought Leaders (TLs) and organizations have access to relevant scientific information and that pertinent information is shared with the medical community. The project MSL shall use his/her experience and knowledge interacting with key external medical and pharmacy professionals through the process of education via one-on-one interaction; small group discussion and symposia lecture presentations including interactions associated with sponsored medical education programs and research protocols. The project MSL shall facilitate TL involvement in national, regional and local educational forums including advisory boards, symposia and Continuing Medical Education (CMEs). As a project MSL, she/he also serves as an important partner to internal stakeholders within Bayer by communicating relevant information from TLs to key cross-functional partners.
Experiences / Background:
· Has studied a scientific subject to a high standard, i.e. Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in medicine, natural sciences or pharmacology
· Has worked in a medical /pharmaceutical field, dealing with drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinical related activities.
· Possess basic knowledge of therapeutic area products
· Preferable to have business acumen / knowledge, gained through academic study or work experience in a pharma or equivalent organization
· Track record of successfully dealing with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop coherent strategy/ approach or to gain support on key issues
· Successfully led workstreams / projects and organized scientific engagement platforms and events
· Has experience learning and using digital technology on-the-fly to develop communications, brand / TA campaigns and/or conduct analysis of medical data and generate insights
