Salary Grade: 24   

Basic Salary: Php 88,410.00/ month

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Education :

Master’s degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC. PhD Degree will also be an advantage.

Experience :

4 years supervisory/ management experience

Training :

40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention undertaken

Preferred Qualifications/ Attributes:

Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Nutrition, Nutrition and Health, Public Health, Chemistry, or related fields. Holders of Doctorate Degree (PhD or DrPH) will be an advantage;

Brief functions of the position:

Plan, organize, lead and manage all division undertakings, project activities and personnel under the Nutrition Food Research & Development Division and assume overall responsibility thereof;Direct, mentor and coach personnel in carrying out researches, studies and other undertakings consistent with the functions of the Division; Install, innovate strategies, develop frameworks or models for more efficient workflow in the Division;Undertake first level screening of project proposals under the Division;Lead the conduct of one or more programs/projects under the Division;Prepare and/or evaluate technical papers and other materials for publication;Maintain quality management system in accordance with international standards;Participate in formulating management policies as member of the FNRI Management, Technical and other Institutional Committees;Assign staff within the division in the performance of other related and special tasks; andPerform other related and special tasks assigned by the Deputy Director or higher authority.
