Preferred Qualifications
1. Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree related to the job;
2. Background on Intellectual Property is a plus;
3. Experience working in a DOST agency is an advantage but not preferred;
4. With excellent communication skills;
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shall provide technical support to the IP Protection and Enforcement Unit and related programs
2. Shall obtain, consolidate, review and analyze information, both confidential and those that are available in the public domain, in order to provide support in enforcing and further protecting IP and IP rights that are deemed enforceable based on the interests of the DOST in general, and DOST-TAPI in particular
3. Shall assist in the technical matters related to the IP Protection and Enforcement Unit’s mandated functions, such as but not limited to:
Preparation of minutes of the meeting;Encoding of various docu
ments;Maintaining records and ensure all records are scanned before filling;Co
nduct IP Prior Art Searches on technologies subject of enforcementCoordinate/communicate/ Set-up o
nline meetings for TAPI, propo
nent and/orother DOST agencies involved in the projectCoordinate with law firms, when neededGenerate social media content/write-up/publications related to the IPProtection and Enforcement;Digitize the IP Protection and Enforcement docu
ments and create andmaintain centralize filing system for the samePreparation of technical reportPerform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time
