PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/ ATTRIBUTES:

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.Units in MS Degree is an advantagePreferably with knowledge and skills in nuclear techniques applicationsKnowledgeable in mineral availability, phytonutrients and glycemic index analysesProficient in computer software operations and familiar with statistical software packageHas above average verbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsHas positive work attitudes, has initiative, innovative and multi-taskerAble to work with minimum supervision

BRIEF DEscriptION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the work of a small group of researchers engaged in studiesPrepares research proposal, technical reports and scientific manuscripts for publication.·Conducts and monitors approved researches and studies of the unit. Analyze and interprets results of researches and studies of the unit.Act as trainer of new researches.Renders consultancy and technical assistance services.Serves as chair or member of technical or non-technical institutional committees.Performs other related work and special tasks assigned by the supervisor or higher authorities
