The Access Control Admin Assistant is responsible for monitoring: the building premises in order to prevent the occurrence of crimes and criminals; and the door access system. Duties involve providing the right access for all employees, detection of the employees going in and out on the premises where they are restricted.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.OPERATIONAL
Operate and mo
nitor all systems within the Co
ntrol Center in an efficient manner ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and the codes of practice.Record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format.Provide efficient and courteous service on radio and telephone and deal effectively with all inquiries.Report equipment failure to the Security Manager/Building Engineer to maximize operation of the system.Provide mo
nitoring of the maintenance program to ensure full provision of the system/s.Follow protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV Co
ntrol Room and its facilities.
2.ADMINISTRATIVE

ntrol and CCTV systems.Receive and file pertinent security docu
ments.Disseminate and respond to security technology system co
ncerns through phone calls and emails.Prepare, process and mo
nitor purchase requisitions relative to the Access Co
ntrol and CCTV System.Resolve administrative issues by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
