The Legal Counsel assists in giving legal advice on all fields of law affecting the operations of the Company’s business. He/She is responsible for the drafting and reviewing of all legal documents and pleadings. He/She monitors and assists the team in their day-to-day task. Assists the Manager in the assigned tasks and supervises employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of giving opinions and advice on all fields of law affecting the operations of the company's business such as but not limited to, general commercial law, corporation law, taxation law and labor law. Draft or review contracts, policies, correspondences/memorandum or other docu
ments that need to be assessed. Ensure that the company is complying with all laws imposed by various government agencies in the country. Help in co
nducting legal due diligence and legal research in co
nnection with the nature of the company's business. Provide assistance in the formation of new companies inside and outside of the country. Assist in corporate housekeeping matters to make sure that the necessary filings are up to date and maintained properly. Represent the company in legal proceedings if necessary (administrative hearings, court trials etc.) Assists Manager/s and above in the day to day task partakes in any assigned task given by the team and supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications:
Lawyer in good standing for a minimum period of 3 years Information risk and security management: at least 1-2 years work experience in the field; familiarity with applicable standards, methods, models and approaches. General business management: a least 1-2 years employee responsible for dealing with information risk, security, privacy, incidents, business continuity, compliance etc. Candidates must be willing to undergo background checks to verify their identity, character, qualifications, skills and experience And such other tasks as may be given by the EMPLOYER and/or Client analogous to the foregoing
