JOB SUMMARY

The Project Development Officer II shall be responsible in handling a maximum of 300 Indigenous People (IP) Households, ensuring IP community development processes, mechanisms and activities are effectively delivered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct community visits and integration to identify their needs, problems, capabilities and special interestsMotivate the community in defining/clarifying their priority problems and alternative solutions as basis for a collective participation in decision-makingIdentify and mobilize other development partners for resource convergence around community prioritiesdocument experiences for lessons generation and development, and report IP grievances to enhance program policies and implementationIdentify Indigenous Knowledge Skills and Practices (IKSP) through conduct of community interventions/methodologies appropriate for IP’sEnsure and monitor compliance to health and education conditionalities recognizing its importance and the right of the IPs to basic social servicesMonitor cash grant release to IP beneficiariesPrepare a community profile and integration paper for reporting purposes to describe the progress of the organizational work in the communityPerform other related tasks as may be assigned.
