DescriptionProvide 30–60-minute massages to clients by appointmentGuide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them mostTake a detailed client history and note any health conditionsevaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the bodyAdvise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methodsSuggest future massage appointments and regime to clientsListen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desireRequirementsCompleted 500 hours of massage therapy coursesAt least four years of experience as a professional massage therapistExperience working in a spa preferredNice to have: current massage therapy certificationStrong interpersonal communication skillsTime management abilitiesDemonstrated sales and customer service skills
