Job Descriptions

Manages and oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department which include month and year-end process, accounts payables, accounts receivables, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliation, trust account statement reconciliation, check runs, fixed assets, and debt activities.Prepares accurate monthly financial statements which include the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow in a timely manner.Leads a team of accounting staff in providing reliable, complete, and accurate financial reports and records by:Ensuring that the management is provided financial statements with supporting schedules and analysis.Ensuring that all liabilities and obligations of the company (trade, tax, statutory, etc.) are processed on time.Ensuring preparation and submission of the annual audited financial statements.Effective safekeeping and systematic record-keeping of financial records.Ensuring compliance with governmental and statutory regulations.Conducts financial audits for the purpose of verifying the accuracy and reliability of the financial data and carried out through the examination of financial transactions.Reviews accounting systems and controls and proposes system improvements.Establishes and enforces department controls, policies and procedures.Oversees year-end taxation reports to ensure that the Company complies with legal and governmental requirements. Liaises and represents the company in matters concerning taxation, external audit, municipal permits, municipal licenses, and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) examination.Coordinates with independent external auditors with regard to periodic audit schedules.Ensures integrity of financial reports and proper handling of confidential information.Oversees cycle and physical counts of stock inventories.Oversees support functions such as encoding, bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, and organizing and filing documents.Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS Business Commerce-Accounting or BS Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Must have at least five years (5) of managerial work experience from rental companies and related industries.With above-average oral and written communication skills                     Numerate, must be analytical and with good problem-solving skillsCan think logically and pay keen attention to detailsMust be a team player with good interpersonal skills
