about the role

We are looking for a detail-orientated tax analyst to be responsible for tax-related tasks. The tax analyst's responsibilities include preparing all tax compliance, assisting in audits, and responding to tax correspondence.

Process Tax documents, upload them to our company portal, and prepare the tax return (1040, 1065, 1120, the 1120S, 990 series, 1023) with the provided documents.Inform the client if additional information is required or send the tax return to a Tax Manager for review if the tax return is complete.Respond to client messages within 24 hours.Prepare Tax Extensions.Calculate estimated taxes.Work on AdHoc Projects.Participate in weekly meetings or as required by the Tax Manager.

Requirements

Can use tools such as Zoom, Gchat, Email, SlackProblem Solving SkillsKnowledge of tax principlesExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsProfessional, reliable, good work ethic and can work under pressure and meet deadlinesAt least two years of experience preferably with a public accounting firm but not requiredShould have a stable wired primary subscription, secondary Internet connection, and suitable work-from-home space
