What will your day look like

This role manages and coordinates BG&C activities relating to operations of various business units in Manila – key control testing, risk awareness, risk assessment (automation and process changes), events management, audit support, risk reporting, risk profiling, and compliance management. One will be able to successfully fulfill the requirements of the role through exemplifying ICARE values and applying in depth-analysis of risk data to be able to provide accurate advice to the business. 

The role requires successful engagement with a variety of stakeholders to arrive at a better understanding of issues/risks, their root causes, and recommend effective yet commercially sound risk-balanced actions/solutions. A collaborative approach is also required to successfully influence key stakeholders (who ultimately own the risk).

The role will also be expected to: 

Effectively engage with key stakeholders from different businesses and other geographies Influence the business in keeping the risk management mindset through continuously participating in business discussions and providing risk management learning sessionsAct as one of the points of contact for operational risk issuesProactively identify gaps in the process and suggest internal controls to mitigate any operational and compliance risks Provide guidance and support for businesses in the reporting and management of their operational risk events, in accordance with I.AM framework requirementsEscalate complex matters to the BG&C Manager in a timely manner and ensure appropriate closure of issuesPerform and/or oversee, where necessary, the following: Risk Profiling Risk Assessments Treatment Plans Monitoring Control Remediation Plan MonitoringRisk Awareness InitiativesAudit Engagement SupportWhat will you bring?
