Job purpose The FA Senior Financial Analyst I/FA Senior Financial Analyst II will join a business-facing team of financial analysts with ownership of accuracy of financial data that includes financial analysis per account and review of the business processes that are driving inaccuracies of the financial data. The role is expected to identify opportunities to optimize performance and efficiency in any process. The position will provide timely and accurate financial results and trends to assist the Senior Financial Analysis Manager in his/her overall review of the financial reports by Centre and by Country. Duties and responsibilities · Provide value-adding and insightful analysis and narratives on key variances on financial reports. · Review and analyze financials; identify issues, provide resolutions, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.· Ensure accuracy and completeness of Financial Reporting and Analysis packages/reports. · Create financial reports and analyses to support key initiatives.· Provide support on Group audit, including but not limited to preparation of reports and audit requirements for Auditors.· Identify opportunities to optimize performance and efficiency in processes.· Ensure process documentation is complete and up to date.· Ad-hoc activity/project and back-up/support to other members of the Team. Qualifications · Experience of financial accounting and reporting in a blue-chip multinational PLC environment.· BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CFC, CFA, or CMA preferred · 8+ years working in Finance and Accounting role.· 5+ years working with management reporting and enterprise-wide analytics. · Strong technical, financial, and communication skills. · Ability to meet deadline and work under high pressure. · Solid understanding of accounting theories and practices. · Strong commercial sense; preferably with business partnering capability. · Capabilities in structured problem solving and financial modelling to support the analytics requirements. · Highly organized, enthusiastic, high sense of task ownership and responsibilities. · Strong work ethic, team player, focused and composed during a challenging discussion.· Strong knowledge on Peoplesoft GL and HFM.· Strong knowledge on MS Dynamics is a plus. Working conditions Work schedule is on a mid-shift and would require holiday and weekend work, as needed.
