nsibility (CSR) disclosure and reporting, or a related technical discipline with knowledge of the theory and practice of sustainability broadly.Some understanding of broad corporate sustainability reporting principles, f
rameworks, and measurement, as well as carbon emissions accounting / reporting in particular is a plus.Understanding of the im

nding to ESG / sustainability stakeholder (e.g., investors and customers) requests and questionnaires, and for coordinating and validating any collection of evidence.docu
ment internal ESG disclosure / reporting processes and procedures, identify innovative workflow efficiencies and implement solutions to enhance our processesSupport ESG disclosures more broadly, including Emerson’s Ecovadis and CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure project) annual submissions. This includes working with cross-functio
nal teams to collect and organize data/messaging for these various external reports.
Source of ESG disclosure expertise
Develop a strong understanding of and curiosity a
bout the ESG reporting landscape, and knowledge of disclosure f
rameworks such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, as well as ESG rating platforms such as Ecovadis, and disclosure regulations (e.g., CSRD, SFRD, EU Taxonomy).Act as an ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) disclosure Subject Matter Expert for internal stakeholders. For example, by providing technical guidance to the global Enviro
nmental Sustainability leadership team on disclosure and transparency topics.Co
ntinuously follow reporting trends and best practices in ESG data disclosure landscape, benchmark standard methodologies/peers, and provide recommendations for improvement.Prepare gap analysis for ESG reporting and respo
nse to third-party ESG rating agencies

nmental Sustainability leadership team, led by our Chief Sustainability Officer.You are willing to work virtually with colleagues in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.You are willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time and are open to working remotely.
