Main Responsibility:
The Area Manager ensure the delivery of exceptional operational and commercial standards throughout Branch Stores in a certain area.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve budget targets in line with Area Sales Performance.ensure compliance of Branch Managers in all areas of operations activity and drives sales and profitability through the performance and development, whilst managing within agreed budget.Needs to travel around all stores and observe one’s operations. From there, he coaches the Branch Manager on specific changes that can improve performance.Pro-actively co
ntribute to the formulation and direction of retail strategy and implement projects and trials in the Area.Support the management of customer service activities and staff competence so as to optimize and sustain sales performance and customer satisfaction.Effectively manage the Profit and Loss within allocated budget to affect a profitable performance for the Area.Manage payroll budgets in line with Area Sales performance.Ensure that all stores adheres to compliance requirements in all areas of operatio
nal activity, company policies, and procedures.Clearly and co

ntrol targets in line with company guidelines to prevent financial loss.Liaise with the buying and merchandising teams regarding the supply of stock in the Area to maximize stock potential.Identify under-performing stores and develop a business plan to address and manage issues effectively.Collate and provide co
nstructive feedback on Visual Merchandising standards to the business.Ensure that the visual presentation of the stores represents the brand imageSupport the delivery of all marketing campaigns.Develop an effective network of communication across the Area to ensure shared knowledge and understanding of business activity.Encourage managers to seek and co
ntinuously develop knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions, with the purpose of making appropriate and innovative recommendations to drive the business forward.Encourage managers to identify trends and make suggestions to improve and enhance product performance to drive brand achievement.
