We are looking for an executive level Sales manager to take responsibility of Distributor Sales for domestic retail markets. The individual we are seeking is a dynamic, relationship oriented, and proactive person who is passionate about generating new sales and developing existing relationships to new heights.

Overall Mandate:
The Senior Manager of Distribution Sales shall drive sales, revenues, orders and profitability, and shall develop a strong, structured and disciplined approach in distributor management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with distributors.
• Develop overall financial and legal acumen related to transactions with distributors which includes development and implementation of distributor contracts, financial & organizational structures.
• Collect and analyse market data to drive growth and further market development.
• Monitor orders versus distributors’ sales targets, including alignment of distributors’ inventory levels.
• evaluate distributor sales pipeline sufficiency and deploy demand generation actions, as needed.
• Monitor compliance to payment terms and ensure timeliness by working closely with the Finance & Accounting Team.
• Determine and coordinate with distributors on market entry strategies for new and existing product portfolios.
• Define and support business development activities (trade shows, campaigns, etc.)
• Deploy containment and risk mitigation actions to enable each distributor to achieve targets.
• Develop and execute monthly and quarterly reports in a timely and efficient manner.
• Other related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of Sales experience in the FMCG Food industry with experience in distribution sales.
- Master’s degree in Business or any related field is an advantage.
- Leadership skills with successful track record of managing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
Working Environment
- Indoor office environment
- Frequent field and plant visits will be required.
- Inspection of distributor warehouses and public markets will be part of the working environment.
Food Safety Requirements
Basic to intermediate knowledge of any GFSI Food Safety Scheme is preferred (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000) but not required.
Reports to the Management and Food Safety Team for any identified abnormalities and nonconformities in the implementation of the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS).
