I. Sales
· Manage Area Managers in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed set goals.
· Establish clear sales objectives for the week, month or year.
· Hold and direct sales meetings.
· Manage and supervise the sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving sales goals.
· Monitor and track regional sales performance.
· Maintain an awareness of any sales or client issues needing personal involvement to resolve as well as any changes in any client/ industry trends.
· Provides timely and accurate records and reports as required.
II. People Management
· Counsel, train, and guide Area Managers to drive organizational plans for achieving sales goals.
· Lead, motivate, acknowledge and inspire the sales team to perform beyond expectations.
· Hold frequent performance reviews with the sales team to provide constructive feedback.
· Ensure that the sales team follows desired standards of consistency, fairness, and honesty.
· Initiate Employee Development Programs for Area Managers in conjunction with HR Department.
III. Marketing Support
· Coordinate with the Marketing Department to ensure marketing tools are provided to the trade to increase brand visibility and thereby achieve business objectives.
IV. Others
· Perform effectively and in timely manner tasks assigned and undertake any other support duties as may be required from time to time by the immediate head.
