1. Interprets data obtained from the Research Group / Department based on the assigned market segment. (e.g., Total Market Potential)
2. Performs additional market and product research as needed.
3. Monitors and analyzes product performance (i.e., Revenue, Profits) to generate insights/inferences to be submitted to Business Unit’s General Manager.
4. Facilitates implementation of product strategy emanating from the Business Unit’s General Manager.
5. Facilitates the development of business cases associated with portfolio offerings to be submitted to the Business Unit’s General Manager.
6. Understands market needs (articulated and unarticulated needs), problems, and opportunities as inputs to the product cycle within a productive and cost-efficient timeline.
7. Monitors and controls the conversion of portfolio offerings to prospectuses, and ensures that portfolio offerings are implemented on time based on market needs evolution.
8. Ensures that resources are managed and that projects are carried out in accordance with the approved portfolio plan or otherwise initiate pivotal approaches necessary to bring the planned portfolio to completion, reports them to the General Manager for /confirm/iation, and ensures continuous flow of information among cross-functional team members or other departments’ project officers.
9. Operationalizes the depletion strategy of the Market segment in collaboration with Sales and IPS.
10. Identifies project needs and develops a detailed timeline for buckets 0 and 1, as well as oversees buckets 2 to 4, monitors their completion, and coordinates with the cross-functional project team from other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, operations, and support units and obtains their commitments to the project tasks for product development to ensure efficient product delivery and timely market availability.
