We seek a smart and hardworking Catering Coordinator with a passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable events to join our Team!

This position is highly visible in our organization and the incumbent will be a key member of our Operations Team. Dependability, reliability, and ability to learn quickly are critical factors to success in this roles strives to deliver the highest-end culinary experiences to our customers whose needs range from high-end catering at exclusive events to casual catering at social events.

Job Description

○ Email correspondence with clients

○ Qualify and record incoming inquiries for catering events

○ Prepare proposals and for clients in our software

○ Prepare job details for the Kitchen and Delivery Teams

○ Identify clients’ requirements and expectations

○ Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events from beginning to end

○ Manage calendar for catering events

○ Schedule, track, and coordinate client menu tastings

○ Communicate with staff internally on event details, updates and changes

○ Demonstrate superior time management skills which include managing multiple events

and activities at the same time

○ General office procedures such as invoices, storing and filing invoices, tracking staffing

and rental orders

○ Ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by Management

Qualifications

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

○ Google Suite

○ Strong attention to detail

○ Ability to learn quickly

○ Comfortable learning new software, systems, processes, and procedures

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

○ 2 - 3+ years in a similar capacity is mandatory

○ Top organization skills, superior multitasking ability, and meticulous attention to detail

○ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

○ Scrupulous attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing documents

○ Strong administrative skills and computational ability

○ Comfortable learning new software, systems, processes, and procedures

○ Analytical ability and online research skills required to gather and summarize data for

reports

○ Ability to establish and meet deadlines

○ Able to work at a very fast pace often with little to no supervision

○ Ability to take ownership and initiative
