JOB DEscriptION
Satellite Teams is looking for an Amazon Expert who will be working for an LA-based beauty company. You will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s seller/vendor account on Amazon. He or she will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to execute the brand’s vision for Amazon's e-commerce platform, and must have in-depth experience and knowledge working with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee e-commerce channels for all brands (or per brand) including day-to-day management and execution of Amazon’s sales, inventory, promotions, assortment, and forecasting for assigned brands.Leverage Amazon Vendor Central, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), and A+ marketing to define and lead eCommerce strategy.Deliver results. Drive growth and help to achieve multiple financial targets by implementing sales, marketing, and merchandising strategies for all brands/assigned brands.Analyze all brands/assigned brands regularly for a wide range of performance metrics and KPI’s to understand trends and opportunities. Share key points with leadership. Communicate risk or opportunity to leadership. Develop a plan of action.Ensure POs are processed accurately and on-time, and report on fill rates as it relates to financial targets and forecasts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance) to align operational business plans and optimize Amazon’s growth and profitability.Maintain and manage the overall assortment in alignment with lifecycles, other channels, and financial strategies.Implement new product launches on Amazon aligned with merchandising guidelines.Act as a consultant solving brand specific challenges which can include but are not limited to bringing brands to life through eCommerce platforms, eCommerce strategy, new product planning and roll out, tool optimization and business insights to meet eCommerce merchandising platform objectives.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5, ideally 7+ years of experience in branding and site merchandising using Amazon, Shopify, and Tmall (not required) eCommerce platforms at a (1) major direct-to-consumer CPG brand or (2) high-end digital marketing agency working with CPG brands.Must possess knowledge of both ecommerce and Amazon best practices including a general understanding of Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and all Amazon sales levers. Beauty industry experience is preferred.Data-driven. Able to leverage data to inform and make recommendations. Must have strong excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, macros, etc.)Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail and investigative curiosity.Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to frequent change.Effective communicator and team player.Comfortable working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with numerous competing priorities.
