Job Summary:
The Category Replenishment Manager leads the replenishment planning and order generation of all merchandise categories between suppliers, distribution centres and stores. Responsible for key metrics of in-stock and inventory weeks to dispose, supply chain development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Ensure that PO are timely placed and released
⦁ Lead overall replenishment activities. Manages performance and productivity of personnel
⦁ Develop and implement category strategies to improve in-stock and inventory productivity
⦁ Work with Merchandise team and suppliers to correct in-stock problems
⦁ Review replenishment parameters on a quarterly basis/as needed
⦁ Initiate and conduct replenishment forecast meetings with local suppliers
⦁ Work with merchandise team and store operations to coordinate main events (planogram, major promotion…)
⦁ Track departmental inventories, in-stock and sales on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Takes corrective actions to:
⦁ Reduce OOS
⦁ Control/maintain SSR
⦁ Reduce aging stock
⦁ Perform stock balancing
⦁ Analyze and defines distribution methods, maximizing centralization while addressing exceptions
⦁ Conduct regular store and warehouse visits
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business and/or Management or any other related fieldTwo (2) years experience in a related field or in the same capacity or 3 years experience in Supervisory Position
