The main output of this role is to create high-quality, value-adding, search-engine-optimized written content to increase our client’s overall site, SEO health with the ultimate goal of increasing SERP rankings. We are looking for someone with experience in creating sophisticated and highly-nuanced content for service-based industries. A master of their craft, this candidate is not just a writer but more of a strategist with the capacity to analyze trends, keep up with SEO requirements, and translate that into pain-point-directed articles that our audience can genuinely benefit from. As part of a small but focused digital marketing team, the perfect candidate would be a reliable self-starter who can take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision and finds fulfillment in learning new things and excelling at them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with the team to ideate and research content and an editorial calendar for our client’s website blogResearch trends, news, and conversations around the industry to incorporate into our client’s contentSet and manage keywords from our client’s tools in order to direct the structure and direction of content strategyWrite seamless, value-adding, and SEO-friendly content regularly (min 14 articles per week, 2 articles per day)Write ad-hoc announcements for the website (min 2 articles per month)Total ownership of the writing process, from keyword research to article productionYou will be supported by a lead digital marketing strategist (for overall content strategy and validation, copy-editing), a content marketing lead (for topic ideations and repurposing efforts), and a marketing officer (publishing your work)

QUALIFICATIONS

More than 2 years of SEO Content Writing experienceHas a Bachelor's degree in any related field is requiredProven SEO track record as shown by KPI reports or notes from previous SEO managersExperience with keyword management and researchExperience with the following tools: Semrush, AHREFs, Grammarly, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Monday.comExperience in writing for brands with an authoritative, sophisticated and competent persona (samples are required)Exceptional grammar and composition skills. The company is a very well-respected brand that requires a considerable level of sophistication in writingProven track record of sticking to deadlines and turning in work in a timely mannerBackground in Law and Personal Injury is highly preferred
