Financial Planning Analyst

The Financial Planning Analyst is a key partner for all management accounting process from planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. Drive collaboration & strong business partnership across functions such as Management, Commercial, Marketing and Regional business partners support teams. Help develop sound financial plan and create P&L for new business model opportunities in Retail to accelerate growth and profitability in the country. 

This role will also play a leading role in supporting and driving the delivery of the regional business goals and growth aspirations.

Business partnership across various key stakeholder such as Management committee, Commercial, Marketing to consolidate financial plans, develop budget and update forecast to help support management decision for a highly accelerating and profitable businessPrepare accurate and detailed financial reports on a monthly basis. Able to communicate and simplify key financial highlights to management.Understand key business issues, identify risk and opportunities, develop & propose plan to mitigate risk and maximize opportunities in the business. Validate and challenge reasonableness of assumptions used across functions. Help build and develop P&L for new commercial business model, expansion and growth opportunities & consolidation to improve business efficiencySeek opportunities for reporting, business process & systems simplification & digitization enhancements to drive efficiency in overall business.

Education:

Degree (or equivalent) in finance or accounting, advanced degree a plus,Preferably with Accounting qualification such as CPA, CIA, CMA (or equivalent)Good knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principal (GAAP)

Requirements:

Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in Financial Planning Analyst role, preferred industry such as FMCG, Retail, Luxury in a Multi-national entity setupDegree holder or professionally qualifiedSystem experience: BI/Data warehouse, Essbase & SAP

Ability to correlate business processes and procedures with financial data.Ability to identify problem & risk on a pre-emptive mode while maximize opportunitiesOrganizational and inter-personal skills exhibiting cross functional capabilityLeadership skills. Ability to motivate, coach and facilitate functional meetings.Technical knowledge – ERP/SAP environmentPro-active, high initiative and motivated.
