about the Job

Reporting to the Manager, the Agriculturist we seek will:

1. Lead a team of farm workers; plan activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them

2. Understand the implications of the weather and make contingency plans

3. Maintain and monitor the quality of yield

4. Ensure products availability for the market

5. Maintain knowledge of pests and diseases and an understanding of how they spread and how to treat them

6. Create plant production plans

7. Analyze existing operations and recommend improvements

8. Ensures availability of farm supplies (fertilizers, seeds etc.)

Requirements

• BS Agriculture graduate (major in Horticulture)

• Passion for agriculture

• excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

• superb communication and interpersonal skills

• self-motivation, with the ability to motivate others

• willing to be assigned in Ibaan, Batangas

Overview:

Start-up farm with greenhouses located in Ibaan, Batangas; our farm will be producing “super foods” for the Philippine Market.
