Position Summary: 

The manager is expected to handle overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of productivity and quality, as established and set for the country process.Ensures efficient operations and serves as point of contact for country partners on all communications, including issues.Enhances the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of business processes and looks for opportunities to expand efficiencies.Expected to cover for interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; authoring and discussing with employees performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.

Major Responsibility:    Operational Excellence

Prepares data and participates in Process Business Reviews as assigned by the Group ManagerOversee daily activities of team members and provide assistances whenever neededPlans and maintains appropriate staffing, delegates and distributes work evenly to ensure smooth process flow for voice and transactional supportMonitors operational health and makes necessary changes in strategy and direction to meet agreed performance level/outcomesRegularly meets with respective support leaders/department and agrees on action plans that will address areas for improvement on tactical/day to day operationsContinuously builds personal process / industry know-how to be a able to direct the tower effectivelyTo be part of the Crisis Management Team (CMT) structure for crisis communication and escalation and business unitIdentify the recommended recovery strategies based on the impact level as referenced for critical business processes

Major Responsibility:      People Management

Implements strategies to attract and engage talents within the group assigned towards retention and achievement of organizational goalsDevelops Supervisors towards agreed performance expectations and handles disciplinary actions where requiredHandles the downward cascade of information that is vital to the performance of associate dutiesProvide recommendations to Group Manager on assigned group's staffing levels relative to workload and capacity forecastProvides effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of HRBPs, when necessary; Ensures that people managers assigned in the group do theEnsures tower compliance and/or participation in company-wide policies and engagement activities and leads by exampleHandles onboarding and offboarding of direct reportsPartners with Talent Acquisition team in driving the formulation of job profiles, interviewing, selecting, and attracting talent into the organization (Associates to Supervisor Level); Owns hiring responsibilities for direct reportsCoaches people managers and Teams assigned to his/her group to achieve organizational successPartners with HRBP and Supervisors in developing group specific Succession Plans to ensure continued business success through identification and talent development which will fill critical

Major Responsibility:      Stakeholder Relationship

Acts as 2nd level point of contact for all escalationsProvides timely updates to country partners regarding operational strategy

Leads approved projects that drive efficiency gains, eliminate waste and losesLooks for and pursues opportunities to improve operational outcomes/outputProposes business solutions that will aid in the achievement of country goalsRecommend policies, procedures, systems and innovations relevant to the goals of the organization and country requirement

Major Responsibility:      Reporting & Administrative 

Attends leadership meetings and makes positive contribution to achieve desired meeting outcomesGenerates required reports on performance, business update, HC, as required by the Group ManagerHandles requests from direct reports (Finance, Facilities, Purchasing)Handles upward cascade of information that is vital to the business

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 4 years of position specific experience (in Supply Chain or Inventory Management or Order Management)4 years of leadership experience in a supply chain/logistics environmentOpen to work on permanent night shift (to support North America operations)Open to hybrid work set-up (in McKinley Hill)
