Supply Planning Lead

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Supply Planning Manager is the subject matter expert for demand and supply planning, network optimization and capacity planning while supporting various projects including consumption models, production optimization strategy and new product development.The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for the weekly department scorecard KPI review.He/She will spend a great deal of time working with the other departments who are stakeholders to translate the commercial objectives relative to product supply into executable plan for the factory.

JOB DEscriptION:

Develop and maintain rolling 52 weeks supply plan for all stock keeping units in every distribution center or regional warehouse.Responsible for the timely inventory replenishment plan for all Distribution Centers and Regional Warehouses.Participate in the development of statistical models to optimize safety stocks without negatively affecting customer service levels.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure that the promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in the aggregate demand.Notify Scheduling and Manufacturing of significant forecast or capacity changes in a timely basis.document assumptions, promotions, and adjustments to forecasts using Sales and Marketing teams' input.Analyze and upload timely and accurate periods of 52 weeks forecast on a weekly basis.Review, store, and backup final adjusted and unadjusted statistical forecasts.Create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes.Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.Lead network optimization process to mitigate costs and maximize service.Develop capacity simulation processes to run sensitivity analysis for growth.Support the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement in any Global Meetings or report submission requirementsManagement responsibilities:Lead, evaluate and motivate subordinated employeesPropose trainings and career development plans for direct subordinatesDefine and implement succession plans, responsible for adequate headcount planning of the functional groupEnsure suitable working conditions, health, and safety protection at workRespect and adhere to the internal policies, legal and other rules.
