Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Dispatcher.

The Dispatcher provides assistance in the actual dispatching of deliveries. Ensures the availability of trucking units or container vans needed for the timely dispatching of delivery and responsible for the completeness of posting of inventory transactions such as receipts and issuances. Updates truckers and trucking personnel regarding delivery instructions (protocols) and documentations prior to dispatch.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

Maintains daily attendance or queuing logbook of trucks.Calls-in truckers or shipping line vans scheduled to loadForwards Picklist to trucker and to warehouseman to proceed loading of stocksGenerates and prints invoices based on the loaded quantity in PicklistRelays and forwards to trucker all delivery instructions, protocols, and other support documents (e.g. Purchase Order) that are needed for the deliveryMonitors the timeliness of deliveryCollates all copies of served invoices from truckers and ensures that all necessary information are completely reflected in the documents such as reasons for returns, if any, signatures, and date and time of deliveryUpdates served invoices in the SAP system regarding dates and times of deliveries.Generates Credit Invoices and identifies the person who will shoulder the charged freight cost for the rejected items.Encodes all receipts (FGTD/FGRR) from production and ensures accurate and timely encoding to the SAP systemEnsures that all issuances (DR/DWR/BODR) are accurately and promptly encoded to the SAP systemSends/Transmits all necessary documents (served invoices, DWRs, BODRs, DRs, FGTDs) to the concerned personnel or departmentEnsures proper filing of documents for future referenceMaintains cleanliness of work place at all timesConveys to the DC Coordinator or to Customer Service Supervisor (CSS) the dispatch information details including the van. no., truck P/L no., name of trucker, time and date of departure, and estimated date of arrivalPerforms other functions assigned by DC Coordinator.Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday (shifting schedule)

What are the Qualifications?

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.Must be proficient in computer applications.Knowledge on SAP Systems is an advantageKnowledge in warehousing and trucking operations is an advantageApplicants must be willing to work in Brgy. San Cristobal, Calamba City Laguna.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Full-Time position(s) available.
