Legal Analyst
Makati City
Position Summary:
The Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) team is responsible for managing and supporting various processes including the preparation and verification of programs and applications, record keeping, setting, and archiving. The Analyst is responsible for analyzing data that will be stored in certain systems and assessing data retention, archiving, storage, and disposition requirements of these systems as against business and regulatory and business obligations of the client.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Production (80%)
• Analyze and assess data and client requirements for record keeping, archiving, and systems/applications
• Conduct meetings and manage inquiries from various business groups
• Collect, compile, and organize data, and analytical reports
• Monitor the implementation of recommended plans of action until complete
• Coordinate with system owners in data management activities and assist in problem solving and decision making
• Contribute in any innovation and process improvements opportunities as may be relevant to the team
Reports & Admin (20%)
• Attend meetings/calls with the various business groups of the client and the Management Team
• Respond to any client inquiries
• Prepare progress reports by summarizing tasks and actions
• Prepare an internal project manual that documents the work processes and ensure that the internal team project manual is updated from time to time and that copies maintained are the most updated
• Capture and report metrics on quality, productivity and on time delivery
• Submit client-required reports as needed
• Ensure that Information Security requirements and policies are adhered to at all times
• Participate in company activities and organize engagement activities to improve performance, collaboration and teamwork
Ad Hoc
• Train new team members
• Conduct training on the client’s proprietary databases as needed
• Lead/join special projects as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)Above average to excellent English communication skills, both in oral and written formsExcellent comprehension and analytical skillsMust be amenable to work on permanent night shift
Education and Experience:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Law, Legal Management or equivalent.At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in a similar corporate environment
