We have driven high growth over the past 5+ years and due to our expansion, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a strong Logistics background to help us manage our growing portfolio of customers. Our international team consists of young, smart, and dedicated people, who have a passion for customer success. Responsibilities:Your main role is being the primary Point-of-Contact and managing the account of our key regional client based in the Philippines. In time, you will also have the opportunity to manage 3-8 additional accounts of clients based locally or abroad. Furthermore, as account manager, you will also be responsible for the following:
Understanding of the end-to-end operatio
nal process flow of a 4PL provider.Mastering the process and challenges involved in the logistics and handling of sensitive docu
mentsIdentifying and managing operatio
nal risksCreation, implementation, and on-going improvement of the Standard Operating ProceduresEnsure the SOP or Statement of Work is accurate and regularly updat
ed.Managing and ensuring compliance of SLAs (both internal as well as vendor performance).Develop and maintain strong client and vendor relationships, through both regular online, as well as face to face meetings.Provide information and solutions to Client’s inquiries & challenges.Generating and ensuring the impeccable accuracy of the daily and mo
nthly reports to internal and external stakeholders.Co
nduct month-end meetings with the client and suppliers to present the number of orders completed for the mo
nth and KPIs.Keeping accurate administration pertaining to accounts, suppliers, inventory, and other docu
mentation.Project management of new clients, as well as IT improvement projects for existing accounts.Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Preferably a college graduate with a degree in business or supply chain managementAt least 2 years of work experience in operations or account management in the courier services/logistics industryProject management skillsExcellent English communication skillsGravitas in both o
