In this newly created role you will support the Merchandise Planner by forecasting product sales,  providing support with weekly/daily reporting whilst optimising inventory productivity through accurate allocations and attribution maintenance.

 Day in the life at our South Melbourne Support Office…

Responsible for the initial allocations of seasonal and job lot lines to ensure stock levels in store are at the correct levelWork with the category team managing product life cycles & regular attribute and data maintenanceSupport the seasonal buy and inventory flow process in conjunction with the PlannerPrepare and analyse planning reportsManage performance tracking tools & reports along with through analysis to provide top level feedback on performancePlanning in conjunction with the planner on core lines to maintain ideal in stock positionSupport Planner with Merchandise Trading to achieve category KPIs

What you will bring to us:  

Demonstrated capability in retail inventory analysisSolid knowledge of allocations, replenishment, and planning principlesPrevious experience in retail allocationsAbility to influence others to ensure the financial performance and inventory productivity optimisation is the primary focusAdvanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, with an intermediate knowledge of  ExcelAbility to work autonomously
