Role and Opportunity

The Accountant is a varied role covering all aspects of both management and financial accounting for five (5) entities. You will virtually work constantly with the Director and General Manager in Australia.

Job Description

Oversee Accounts Payable and ReceivableOversee the Bookkeeper and the payroll processingBank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliationReconciliation of ledger accounts including journal preparationBudgeting, cashflows, and variance analysisBAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, Long Service Leave, and STP reportingWeekly Management P&L to DirectorYear-end accountsContribute to the team effortPerform other duties that the client and management may require.

Required Experience

At least 3 years of Australian account experienceStrong MS Excel proficiency and experience with MYOB or similar accounting softwareBackground in processing claims, invoices, and remittancesExcellent spoken and written English communication skillsProficiency in using Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Teams, OneDrive)BI4 Cloud experience

A PLUS, if you have:

Experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableCPA qualificationWork experience in the construction industry
