DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To supervision, plan, control and administer the school library.
2. To supervise and direct the library staff to accomplish all academic and technical tasks on library operations
3. To evaluate library staff performance for merit increase or promotion
4. To recommend, in coordination with the DFAA
5. To coordinate with the school administrators and other service units to accomplish procedural requirements, resolve problems, or expedite actions on the needs of the libraries with regard to personnel, purchases, budget, accounting and maintenance.
6. To coordinate with Deans in developing the library collection that is relevant to and supportive of the various academic programs of the School.
7. To prepare and implement the budget of the library
8. To submit to the President, through the DFAA, a report that integrates and summarizes the annual reports of library services, operations, accomplishment, and improvements of all the libraries of the School
9. To formulate and implement the programs, policies and procedures, and rules and regulations of the libraries
10. To recommend for recruitment of new personnel depending on the needs of the library
