EDUCATION:BSA graduateCPA or CMAREQUIRED (S) OF EXPERIENCE:at least 3 experience in Philippine taxation regulatory compliance or external auditEXPERIENCE/:Knowledgeable in VAT refund application, handling of BIR LOA audit, verification and validation of the accuracy of tax returns for filing SEC filing and other gov't agenciesPreference will be given to applicants from the Big 4DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:Spearhead/handle the 's VAT refund applicationHandle/liase the 's adherence to BIR audits to ensure compliance to achieve zero to minimal tax deficiencyEnsure the is 100% tax compliant based on the Tax Code and BIR RulingsInform the EXECOM and other concerned of any changes or tax updatesCoordinate and closely with the Assistant Finance Manager (AFM)/Accounting Supervisor and external auditor with regards to financial audits affecting the 's operationsResponsible in ensuring the 's financial documents are well-preserved, archived, filed, and complete for smooth retrievals as neededPerform tax planning for presentation to EXECOMRecommend changes or improvements in the processes to comply with BIR and gov't regulations such as but not limited to SEC, BOC, etc.Responsible for complete and accurate BIR required tax filing and paymentExperience in logistics industry and importation/incoterms preferred but not requiredSCOPE OF :Tax compliance with special emphasis on VAT refunds and BIR audits
