Responsible for all agricultural, direct sourcing operation in a Market / Region, for 1 or more product categories

Responsible for the overall management of the direct sourcing operation of the raw materials in scope, including the physical buying and pricing mechanism when needed, and of the effective usage of all available resources. Contribute to price setting by providing to management solid insight on local competition and context.Launch and drive all Company initiatives, tools and projects as required to ensure the achievement of all targets and KPIs (cost, quality, volumes, people), in line with the business priorities. Lead improvement projects on existing sourcing, namely projects aiming at meeting our quality norms for the raw materials sourced (ex: Saturday)Develop and implement the market/region strategies for the direct sourcing of the raw materials required, in line with Company policies and business needs. Develop new sourcing strategies as per business needs.Launch and drive all initiatives aiming at developing sustainable agriculture and farmers, thus contributing to sustainable rural development.Ensure and develop the compliance of the direct sourcing operations with company principlesEnsure and develop the connection with the rural community: farmers, associations, industry, competitors Manage the connection with local public institutions for rural development, ministry of agriculture, NGOs, funding partnersPrepare business forecast for raw material sourcing and communicate to relevant functions of the companyLead, coach and train team members to ensure personal development and succession planningUnderstanding and appreciation of dynamics of rural societies, their development, and raw material production systemsAdvanced knowledge and understanding of raw material direct sourcing operations. with good knowledge on costingBroad knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, food safety, hygiene and quality assurance, sustainability of raw material production
