The Project Management Supervisor is responsible for managing the construction project assigned to him/her. This involves planning, execution, and closing out of the construction projects. The role revolves around planning of resources, scheduling of works, tracking project schedules and accomplishments, and milestones in adherence to a timely project delivery, quality, and within allotted resources.
The role includes leading a task group of inter departmental team to execute planning and execution towards project completion. This position requires people and leadership skills to have collaboration with different stake holders within the company and with 3rd party service providers and supply vendors.
The projects that the position will handle involves meat shop construction projects, industrial facility construction projects, office construction, and any that will be assigned as the company expands its business.
Planning works and interdepartmental collaboration
1. Will aid the project manager in handling specific construction projects starting with planning works.
2. Responsibility involves delivery of BOQ/BOM for projects assigned3. Tasks includes delivery of project schedule showing various milestones and respective start and end dates prior execution start4. Monitoring and delivery of project plans as deemed required by the project5. Assigning and coordination with various stake holders (whether inside the company or 3rd party) the tasks needed for the project
Project Execution
1. Responsible in monitoring procurement progress, ensuring that timelines are met and work/supply packages are awarded within budget.
2. Responsible in delivery and monitoring of contracts, Notice to proceed (NTP)and/or Letter of Awards (LOAs)
3. Responsible monitoring project progress, assuring that desired quality as mandated by the approved plans and set timeline is met.
4. Execution of project management tools (as mandated by the department) for an organized and well documented project execution5. Report generation and presentation both verbal and written as mandated for the assigned projects
Contract management1. Responsible for the coordination and monitoring the works of various stake holders(whether in house, or 3rd party) ensuring the contracts involved in the project are executed. Assuring that each and every stake holders are working within contractpremises.2. Responsibility includes preparing documentary requirement for the processing of billings by 3rd party contractors/vendors.3. Responsibility involves conflict management ensuring that issues are resolved under the bounds of the contracts and in the interest of the company.
Project Closing and Turn over
1. Responsibility involves the proper turn over of the project to end user. Complete with certificates and other documentary requirement as mandated.
2. Responsibility includes checking the quality of end results of various service providers, systems, and finishes and ensuring that punch lists are well documented, coordinated, and accomplished.
3. Responsibility involves turn over of manuals for the various systems, facility, warranty certificates, Certificate of completion, and (if possible) facilitation of facility usage training.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. The role requires to perform other reasonable tasks that are required, as and when necessary, to maintain, promote, develop and expand the business of the organization and its interests generally.
2. The role requires to do site inspection of various sites in the Philippines and evaluate possible sites for company construction projects. This involves risk assessment and analysis of site features (including but not limited to utilities, geohazards, and topography)
3. Presentation of project updates to management and/or other stake holders as the department mandates
